Our Vision
We envision clean air, water and renewable energy for all of the Clark County area. Climate Reality Chapter Las Vegas imagines the community filled with individuals educated and aware of the climate crisis. We visualize empowered community members proactively and passionately stepping up and executing solutions to combat climate change and build a more healthy, equitable and inclusive environment.
Our Mission
Our mission is to grow an earth-conscious population aware of our climate crisis, who understand the current risks and threats to our environment, who recognize that Las Vegas is the fastest warming city in the U.S., and who are united to identify and implement action-oriented climate solutions.

Food Rescue Program
Join the Chapter’s Food Rescue Program to help divert food from landfills and feed the hungry. Read the Volunteer Information Packet for more information on how you can get involved in reducing food waste. Recent Achievements
- The Climate Reality Project’s local Las Vegas Chapter recently launched its donation page! Visit our new page if you are interested in donating If you are interested in donating money or in-kind contributions such as meeting space, please see our Support Us page.
- The Policy Committee recently hosted an event to prepare about 40 vegan food packages for the homeless. Volunteers, chopped and cooked vegetables, along with pasta for those in need.
