Between 2018 and 2020, clean energy jobs in Nevada grew 39 percent, which is more than three times faster than any other state, and more than six times faster than the US as a whole. Innovative technologies are being invented all the time which will require on-the-job training. While the basic qualifications are varied, some schools do provide specific training to prepare students for careers in clean energy.

Center for Green Schools

  • This organization advances green schools by providing resources and information for educational leaders and school staff

Interstate Renewable Education Council (IREC))

  • The organization merged with the Solar Foundation in 2021 and has a variety of workforce development programs.
